Pineapple Coconut Rum Slushy
This Pineapple Coconut Rum Slushy is similar to a painkiller, it packs a punch. I would describe it as fruity, coconutty, delicious cocktail served in a pineapple. What more can you ask for?
Can I make this nonalcoholic?
Yes, you can sub the alcohol for other fruits, maybe mango, peaches, coconut water, or even strawberries.
Can I use regular dark or white rum?
Yes, its gonna be just as delicious. I just think white rum makes it a little stronger. I used spiced rum to give a little more kick since there are all sweet ingredients in this recipe.
What is Acai spirit?
Açai is a grape-like berry that grows on açai palm trees. This brand is the world’s first Açai liquor; I got grape notes from it. It’s fruity and delicious. If you can’t get it, sub it for a sweet wine or another spirit you enjoy. It will taste just as delicious.
Is it strong?
Yes! It’s boozy but not overwhelmingly boozy. It packs a punch and gets the job done.
It can be served with or without ice. It’s a slushy so it’s already icy.
