Working in an Italian Restaurant I get to recommend and sell many Italian Wines. One of the most popular and favorite of many is Prosecco. It is a white sparkling Italian wine originated in the village of prosecco near Trieste in Italy.
Prosecco is enjoyed by many due its taste, body, and fizziness. You might think that prosecco and Champagne are similar however they differ in taste and body. Champagne is a product from France made with different grapes like Chardonnay and is aged in the bottle, while prosecco is made from the Glera grape, grown in the region of Veneto, and it is aged in a tank.
I prefer prosecco, in particular Riondo Prosecco, the #1 prosecco in Italy. You can enjoy Riondo Prosecco anywhere and anytime. It is one of those wines that you don’t necessarily need a mood, an occasion, or a budget because it fits right into almost anything. The tasting notes are a crowd pleaser as it is very aromatic (golden apple, pear, and acacia blossom), light, and fruity with enough effervescence to keep the mood going. The twist-off bottle option allows you to easily open the bottle. No wine key? No problem!
While Riondo Prosecco can be enjoyed by itself, it is also very versatile and celebrations believe you can use it to make pretty much anything tasty. I am not just talking about Mimosas and Bellinis we can get really creative with this wine and do much more. Summer is approaching so we need to get in the ‘Spritz of Summer’, sun, beach, sand and lots of fun, all the reasons to celebrate and enjoy Riondo Prosecco Cocktails
I decided to do a Campari Spritz for you guys. This is the perfect Italian style cocktail that many people will love! It’s refreshing, bold, crisp, and herbaceous.
