Summer Cocktails:: to spice up those hot days ahead of us. Summer is fun, the weather is nice, people are out, the beach is warm and people are just generally happier, and we all know why. I don’t know about you but summer cocktails are my favorite. I decided to compile a list of tasty cocktails to will spice up your summer.
11 Top Summer Cocktails
TEQUILA SUNRISE
The Tequila Sunrise is a cocktail made of tequila, orange juice, and grenadine syrup and served unmixed in a tall glass.
Main Alcohol: Tequila
Ingredients: 3 oz (6 parts) Orange juice, 1 1/2 oz (3 parts) Tequila, 1/2 oz (1 part) Grenadine syrup
Preparation: Pour the tequila and orange juice into a glass over ice. Add the grenadine, which will sink to the bottom. Do not stir. Garnish and serve.
Standard Garnish: Orange slice, Cherry
Drinkware: Collins glass

STRAWBERRY BASIL LEMONADE
Main Alcohol: Gin
Preparation: 1 oz Bulldog Gin, 3 Basil leaves, 1 Large Strawberry, 2 oz Lemonade, Club Soda
In a double Old Fashioned glass, muddle the strawberry and basil leaves. Fill with ice and set aside. Fill with ice and set aside. Add the gin and lemonade to a shaker and fill with fresh ice. Shake, and strain into the prepared glass. Top with a splash of club soda.
Standard Garnish: 1 strawberry 1 basil
Drinkware: Double Old Fashion
Flavor: Fruity Citrus Forward (Sweet and Sour)

Strawberry Frosé
Main Alcohol: Vodka
Preparation: 1 750-mL bottle rosé, chilled, 2 c. chopped strawberries, 1/4 c. vodka, 1/4 c. fresh lemon juice, ice.
In a blender, combine about half the bottle of rosé, 1 cup strawberries, half the vodka, and half the lemon juice. Add about 2 cups of ice and blend until slushy. If the mixture is too watery, add more ice and blend again. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
Standard Garnish: Serve immediately and garnish with fresh strawberries.
Drinkware: Champagne Saucer
Flavor: Fruity Citrus Forward (Sweet and Sour).

Strawberry Pimms’s Cup
Main Alcohol: Pimm’s Cup
Preparation: 1 handful of fresh mint, 4 cucumber slices, 4 strawberries, sliced, 2 lemon slices, 2 lime slices, 4 ounces Pimm’s No. 1, 1 lemon wedge. 1 lime wedge, 4 ounces ginger beer, 1 to 2 ounces club soda.

Standard Garnish: Leftover mint or strawberry or lemon wedge.

Flavor: Fruity, spicy, sweet, and refreshing.

PINK SEÑORITAS
Main Alcohol: Tequila
Preparation: Lemon wedge, for rimming glasses, Coarse salt, for rimming glasses, 2 c. ice, 2 c. Pink lemonade, 1/4 c. fresh lemon juice, 1/4 c. triple sec, 1 c. tequila.
Rub a lemon wedge around the rim of four glasses, then dip rims into salt. To each glass, add ice, pink lemonade, lemon juice, triple sec, and tequila. Stir to combine. (if you prefer a lot of ice, stir together mixture first, then pour over ice.) Garnish each glass with a lemon slice and serve immediately.
Standard Garnish: 4 Lemon Slices and salt.

APEROL SPRITZ
Main Alcohol: Prosecco
Preparation: 3 parts Prosecco; 2 parts Aperol; 1 part Soda Water,
On the rocks; poured over ice.
Standard Garnish: Orange Slice
Drinkware: Wine
Flavor: Citrusy
RASPBERRY ROSE MARGARITAS
Main Alcohol: Tequilla
Preparation: 2 scoops raspberry rose sorbet, generous, 2 cups ice, 4 oz silver tequila, juice of 2 limes, or more to taste, salt for the rim. In a blender combine all ingredients (aside from the salt) and blend. Rim glasses with lime and salt and pour margaritas.
Standard Garnish: Lime, raspberry, and salt

Palomas
Main Alcohol: Tequila
Preparation: 1 ½ cups silver tequila, 4 ½ cups grapefruit soda, juice of 6 limes + lime wedges to garnishCombine tequila, grapefruit soda, and lime juice in a pitcher; stir to combine. Pour over ice-filled glasses and garnish each with a wedge of lime.
Standard Garnish: Lime wedges
Drinkware: Old Fashion Glass or Rocks Glass.
Flavor: Sweet and Sour

PASSIONFRUIT & STRAWBERRY MOJITOS
Main Alcohol: White Rum
Preparation: 1 passionfruit, half a lime sliced into 4 pieces, 1 tbsp agave syrup, 6 mint leaves, 25ml white rum, 1/2 cup strawberries, 1/2 cup ice, Soda water, Additional passionfruit & mint for garnish, A strong blender.
Muddle together half of the fresh passion fruit (cut into quarters) in a glass with 4 pieces of lime, add the agave syrup, 6 mint leaves, and 25ml of the rum of your choice.
Blend your strawberries and ice in the blender until you have a lovely pink slushy consistency then pop that into the glass too!
Top up the glass with soda water until it’s full then add on your garnishes.
Standard Garnish: 1 slice passion fruit and mint leaves.
Drinkware: Goblet
Flavor: Sweet, Sour with a taste of mint.
SPIKED BLUEBERRY LEMONADE
Main Alcohol: Vodka
Preparation:
Place blueberries, sugar, and 1 cup water in a blender and process until smooth. Place a fine-mesh sieve over a large pitcher and pour the mixture through.
Discard the solids that remain in the sieve. To the blueberry mixture, add lemon juice, the remaining 3 cups of water, and vodka.
Stir and taste, add more vodka if desired. Chill until cold. Serve over ice.
Standard Garnish: Lemon slices and Blueberries.
Drinkware: Collins
Flavor: Sweet and tart.

BLACKBERRY WHISKEY LEMONADE
Main Alcohol: Whisky
Preparation:
- 12 oz. fresh blackberries
- ½ cup sugar
For the Blackberry Whiskey Lemonade:
- 7.5 oz. whiskey
- 7.5 oz. lemon juice
- 1 large rosemary sprig
- 6 oz. blackberry simple syrup
