A non-alcoholic twist to the ‘Painkiller’. This Pineapple Sour Mocktail is freshening, creamy, fruity, and foamy with a hint of nutmeg.
Making this Mocktail
I created this awesome mocktail recipe that is just absolutely delicious. This pineapple-flavored mocktail is not overly sweet but blends perfectly with some orange juice to mellow out the flavor. The ginger syrup gives it a tad bit of sweetness and spicy to offset the tartness from the pineapple. While the coconut brings a slightly creamy texture and a coconutty taste. I used egg whites to add some delicious foam finish with the nutmeg taste to garnish.
What is a sour in a cocktail?
A sour is a style of mixed drink, usually made with sweet and sour. Sweet for the sugar or honey and sour for the acid whether lime, lemon, or cider. The more classic one is a Whisky Sour. Don’t worry this one still non-alcoholic.
How to make a Pineapple Sour Mocktail
It’s simple as adding all the ingredients pineapple juice, orange juice, coconut cream, ginger juice, egg white, and crushed ice in a shaker and shake vigorously and pour into a glass.
Using egg whites in a Cocktail?
You do not have to use egg whites, though it makes the drink 10 times better with the creamy and foaminess. But don’t be discouraged, it still is delicious without.
WARNING: Please use real and fresh egg whites. Consuming raw food may cause foodborne illness.
