Sweet & Sour Glazed Pork Chops
These Sweet & Sour Glazed Pork Chops are just delicious. It was so quick and easy within 20minutues I was done. I decided to pair it with some Brussel Sprouts and Carrots to make it a simple, delicious, healthy meal.
Ingredients
- 4 Pork Chops
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- 1 tsp Old Bay Seasoning
- 2 tbsp Butter
SWEET & SOUR GLAZE
- 1/2 tsp Parsley
- 1/2 tsp Bried Basil
- 1/2 tsp Dried Oregano
- 1/2 tsp Thyme
- 3 tbsp Sugar or Honey I used sugar brown sugar which is best for the substitute for honey.
- 1/4 tsp Balsamic Vinegar
- 1 tsp garlic
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp Water
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F
- Season Pork Chops with salt, pepper, and old bay seasoning.
- Add the butter to a large skillet, add pork chops brown for 5 minutes until it's golden brown.
- Place the Pork Chops in the oven and cook for 10 minutes.
- While the Pork Chop is roasting. Make the sweet & Sour Glaze. Add basil, parsley, oregano, garlic, balsamic vinegar, water, thyme, sugar or honey, and salt and pepper to taste.
- Simmer for 5 minutes until the glaze is thickened.
- Then add Pork Chops to the skillet and glaze the pork chops entirely.
- Garnish to your liking. I, on the other hand, used scallion.
