Blue Hawaiian

Why make a cocktail complicated when it could be this easy? The Blue Hawaiian is a blend of coconut, rum, and pineapple. This tropical drink will sure to make you feel like you’re in paradise.

Blue Hawaiian has many variations and preparations, I believe you can take pretty much any cocktail and make it into whatever you want it to be.

Some people blend this cocktail with ice to make a slushie, some serve it on the rocks as I did. I have seen many serve it in a hurricane glass like many tropical classic cocktails however, I served this in a rocks glass, sometimes being different is good.

I love my cocktails with lots of flavors and of course delicious. It also depends on how I am feeling. My pallet is open up to pretty much anything. Paired with the right food, mood, and time.

Most definitely you would want to serve this over ice. Though, it can be served up chilled. It’s more enjoyable with crushed ice.

Coconut, Pineapple, and Rum are the major ingredients to this cocktail. Coconut cream cannot be substituted, not to my knowledge. Pineapple juice is what is used, I however used pineapple syrup to substitute. You can also use whatever rum you like, I used Wray and Nephew white overproof rum.
